Fermin Aldeguer is set to make his MotoGP debut next season, riding for Gresini Racing, where he will join forces with Alex Marquez in 2025.

Earlier this year, the Spaniard signed a two-year Ducati contract following an impressive stint starting in the late part of 2023.

The young rider’s campaign was highlighted by five race victories, including a dominant run of four consecutive wins to close out the season. Continuing his momentum, Aldeguer added two more wins in 2024.

Next season, Aldeguer will step into the seat currently occupied by Marc Marquez where his debut will see him piloting the Ducati GP24.

Aldeguer expressed his excitement about the upcoming challenge: “Joining the Gresini family is an incredible opportunity to debut in MotoGP with the best bike on the grid and a fantastic team with a rich history of iconic riders.”

“I’m eager to get started with the GP24 and am committed to approaching this new chapter step by step.”

With the Spaniard joining her team, Gresini Racing’s Team Owner, Nadia Padovani, is excited about the upcoming season:

“Our team is built on a family spirit, which has been the cornerstone of our success in the world championship. We are thrilled to have one of the brightest young talents in the series join us.”

“Our goal is to support him in achieving the results that define our team, and we’re excited about the future together.”
