Lorenzo Savadori will remain Aprilia Racing’s MotoGP test rider for the next two seasons. The Italian, who has been part of the Aprilia’s project since 2020, will continue with the Noale manufacturer through 2026.

Savadori’s re-signing comes at an important time for Aprilia, with both factory team riders departing at the end of 2024. His experience with the RS-GP make him an invaluable anchor as Aprilia heads into a transition phase with Marco Bezzecchi and reigning MotoGP World Champion Jorge Martin joining the team next season.

“I am extremely happy to continue this adventure and to pursue my work along with Aprilia Racing for the next two seasons,” Savadori said. “In recent years, we have done an outstanding job, and I am certain that we will continue to improve more and more.”

“Our growth has been consistent, step by step, with a rather clear goal that we always have at the forefront of our minds: contributing to taking the RS-GP to the top of MotoGP. I can’t wait to start the season!”

Under the 31-year-old’s guidance, the RS-GP has evolved into a more competitive package, helping the factory secure race wins and podiums.

Aprilia Racing CEO Massimo Rivola praised Savadori’s role in Aprilia’s long way to the front of MotoGP and confirmed that the Italian will be present as a wildcard at certain Grands Prix in 2025.
