Aprilia Reveals 2025 MotoGP Livery – Martin to Run Number One
Aprilia Racing has unveiled its 2025 MotoGP livery. Jorge Martin revealed he will run the number one after winning the Worold Championship last season.
The Gresini Ducati team has unveiled its fresh livery for the 2025 MotoGP season during an event at the iconic Imola circuit on Saturday.
This season marks Gresini’s fourth campaign as an independent Ducati outfit since parting ways with Aprilia’s factory program at the end of the 2021 season.
The new design for 2025 features a refined color scheme, swapping red for some prominent chrome applications.
Sticking with Ducati machinery, Gresini’s rider line-up will consist of Alex Marquez and MotoGP rookie Fermin Aldeguer.
Marquez enters his third season in Gresini colors, having previously celebrated sprint race wins and podium finishes with the team. His 2024 season on the GP23 was more challenging, yielding just one podium and leaving him eighth in the championship standings. 2025 could be a make or break year for the Marquez-Gresini partnership.
His new teammate Fermin Aldeguer steps up from Moto2 to take Marc Marquez’s place at Gresini. The Spanish youngster secured his seat with a Ducati contract signed early last year, following a breakout Moto2 season in 2023 where he clinched five victories and finished third in the championship.
Aldeguer made his MotoGP debut on the bike at last-Novermber’s post-season test in Barcelona, finishing as top rookie on the timesheets.
The 19-year-old is one of three new names on the grid in 2025 alongside reigning Moto2 World Champion Ai Ogura, and two-time Moto2 race winner Somkiat Chantra.
Gresini is the third team to have unveiled its livery ahead of the 2025 campaign, with Trackhouse kicking off launch season on January 14th.
The factory Aprilia squad followed two days later, with Jorge Martin revealing he’ll race with the #1 plate in 2025.
