The Prima Pramac Racing Team has unveiled its new 2025 MotoGP look for its first campaign as a Yamaha satellite squad, featuring prominent Alpine branding, while the factory team colours remain largely unchanged with a few new details added here and there.

Yamaha is currently going through a big rebuilding phase, having taken the title in 2021 with Fabio Quartararo but ultimately not being able to achieve near-top results since.

The Japanese brand ended the 2024 MotoGP season fourth in the Constructors’ Championship, with Quartararo finishing 13th in the riders’ standings. For 2025, big changes await the Yamaha MotoGP structure.

Ahead of stepping down from his role as team boss, Lin Jarvis was able to secure Quartararo and Rins to a new two-year deal until the end of 2026, as well as getting Yamaha a satellite team for the first time since 2022.

Pramac Racing, having won the independent teams’ championship in 2024 and helped Jorge Martin to the riders’ title, ditched Ducati for factory Yamaha machinery and a very close relation to the development process of the YZR-M1.

Yamaha will provide the same equipment as the factory team to Pramac, and has also directly signed its riders Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller to its works roster.

Pramac is considered to be crucial in Yamaha’s ascent to the front of the grid after years of underperformance and lack of results.
