After three years with MLav Racing Scott Ogden will ride for a new team in 2025. The British rider will join CIP Green Power for the upcoming season as he begins the next chapter of his Moto3 career.
Ogden rode Honda machinery across the last three years and will switch to KTM Moto3 bike next year. The 21-year-old last rode on KTM machinery in 2021 when he was part of the Aspar Junior Team in JuniorGP. During his sole season in the GasGas structure Ogden finished on the podium twice securing one race win.
His three years on a Honda in Moto3 saw him claim a best result of fifth and finished 23rd, 23rd and 20th in the Championship standings.
Ogden expressed his gratitude for the opportunity after being forced to leave MLav Racing and being out of a 2025 Moto3 seat for quite some time. “First of all, I want to thank Alain for believing in me and giving me the chance to race with his team in 2025. It’s a team that in the past have changed the career of many riders and given them the boost into the next category.”
“We have big dreams and ambitions for next year but we have to work hard this winter to help my adaption to a new bike and arrive at the first race ready to fight,” Ogden shared.
CIP Green Power team owner Alain Bronec explained that bringing the “ever-improving” Ogden into the fold, is a big opportunity for the team. “We’re delighted to welcome Scott Ogden to our team next year.”
“He’s a determined rider who never stops improving, so we’ve decided to put our trust in him. We’re convinced that rapid progress towards the top of the category is possible, and we’ll be doing everything we can to take up this new challenge together.”
