The Pramac Yamaha MotoGP team has scheduled its presentation for January 13 in Siena.

The event, held at the Accademia Musicale della Chigiana, will mark Toprak Razgatlioglu’s first official appearance in team colours as he transitions from WorldSBK to MotoGP.

Having completed his initial tests on an unbranded M1 due to prior commitments with BMW, the Siena event will formally introduce him alongside new teammate and fellow stoppie connoisseur Jack Miller.

The launch also kicks off Pramac’s second year with Yamaha machinery after a challenging 2025 campaign that yielded just one top-five finish, dropping the Italian outfit from Teams’ World Champion in 2024 all the way to last in the standings.

The first year of the partnership delivering only 125 points, 2026 will serve as a transition year for Yamaha, with the focus on getting to grips with the all-new V4 engine concept in preparation for the big regulation reshuffle in 2027.

Razgatlioglu becomes the focal point of that effort. However, with the Turkish superstar fresh off winning his third World Superbikes Champion title – and the 2027 factory Yamaha seat lingering somewhere in the back of his mind – expectations for progress have shifted upward.

With Razgatlioglu added to the line-up and Yamaha benefiting from rank D concessions, both sides expect a more productive testing phase in early 2026.

All four Yamaha riders will be eligible to ride at the Sepang shakedown, a test usually only reserved for rookies and test riders.
