The new Yamaha-Pramac partnership has relaunched Yamaha’s Moto2 junior team ahead of the 2025 season. The new Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team will feature Tony Arbolino and Izan Guevara as its riders, aiming to serve as a talent pipeline for future MotoGP contenders.
Arbolino is very happy with his move to the Yamaha team as he goes on track for a future move up to the premier class.
“It’s an honour to join Pramac and Yamaha for their Moto2 entry. I’ve always admired Yamaha’s history and brand. With Pramac’s support, I aim to challenge for the Moto2 title”.
Moto3 World Champion Guevara is equally optimistic about his move away from the Aspar Moto2 team. “I’m very happy to start this new chapter. Returning to a family-like team atmosphere, especially with Gino Borsoi, feels great.”
“I know the team well, and I’m confident we’ll work seamlessly together,” he shared. Guevara added that he’s motivated by the new project and grateful to Pramac and Yamaha for the opportunity, setting his sights on achieving strong results.
The Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team is set for its first outing at the winter test in Valencia, scheduled for February 7th at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit.
