Marc Marquez extended his dominant run with a fifth consecutive win in MotoGP’s return to Brno ahead of Marco Bezzecchi and Pedro Acosta – who claimed his first Sunday podium since Thailand 2024.
The Ducati rider didn’t lead from the start but took control on lap 8 with a decisive move on Bezzecchi into Turn 3. From there, Marquez was untouchable and ultimately crossed the line 1.753s clear of runner-up Bezzecchi.

Francesco Bagnaia took the holeshot from pole and led into Turn 1, but an early mistake on lap 2 saw both Bezzecchi and Marquez dive past.
The Italian never recovered fully, and after being picked off by Acosta on lap 3, he fell out of podium contention.
Though Bagnaia closed back in on Acosta during the final phase – hovering around the half-second mark – he never got close enough to launch an attack on the KTM rider.
He finished fourth, just over half a second behind the rookie. Having originally chosen the hard rear tyre, Raul Fernandez’s decision to swap to a medium rear compound paid off handsomely.
He inherited fifth after Enea Bastianini’s heavy crash at Turn 3 on lap 7 and managed the gap to Fabio Quartararo behind.
The Frenchman, struggling to keep the rear tyre temperature in check, dropped off late but still secured sixth – Yamaha’s second Top 6 result in a row.
Given the Czech GP marked his return to racing action after a 96-day break, Jorge Martin seventh-place race finish is as big a surprise as the relatively warm welcome the Spaniard got at Aprilia following three months of contract drama.
Fermin Aldeguer, Brad Binder, and Pol Espargaro rounded out the top ten on the road. However, the rookie was handed a three-second penalty for irresponsible riding which dropped him down to 11th, behind Jack Miller.

Luca Marini, Johann Zarco, Ai Ogura and Alex Rins rounded out the point-scoring places.
Alex Marquez and Joan Mir both crashed out in a Turn 2 collision on lap 2, while Honda wildcard Takaaki Nakagami missed the race entirely due to a PCL injury sustained in Saturday’s sprint.
