MotoGP championship leader Marc Marquez remains unstoppable on the factory Ducati and takes his third pole position of the season.

Having absolutely obliterated sector times on his last hot lap but still staying about two tenths shy of Maverick Vinales’s 2024 lap record, the Spaniard led Fabio di Giannantonio and Alex Marquez onto the front row.

Marc Marquez’s third pole position in 2025 is also his eighth at the Circuit of the Americas, setting a new record for most pole positions at the same track.

Just shy of the front row was Pedro Acosta, who looked to have made it into the Top 3 until Fabio di Giannantonio’s fastest lap was reinstated having previously been scrapped for a (false) yellow flags violation.

Acosta ended qualifying top KTM rider in 4th ahead of the VR46 Academy trio of Franco Morbidelli, Francesco Bagnaia and Luca Marini.

Marini put in his best qualifying session on the Honda and beating teammate Joan Mir by +0.271s.

Setting the exact same lap time as Mir ahead of him, Jack Miller led the charge for Yamaha in 9th with Maverick Vinales, Fabio Quartararo and Fermin Aldeguer rounding out the top 12.
