How the FIM Rates Race Tracks: Full List of Graded Circuits

Learn how the FIM grades motorcycle race tracks, what each grade means, and browse the full list of officially FIM graded circuits worldwide.

Every international motorcycle circuit must meet strict safety and design standards set by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM).

The grading system defines which types of racing a track can host – from grassroots national events to MotoGP.

The FIM assigns grades based on circuit design, safety infrastructure, medical facilities, and rescue response capacity.

Factors such as run-off areas, barrier types, track width, and surface quality all contribute to the final rating.

Regular inspections ensure that circuits remain compliant as technology and safety requirements evolve.

FIM Grades and Eligible Race Series

The FIM grades circuits from Grade A (top-tier) down to Grade F. The grade determines the highest level of motorcycle competition that can legally be held on the track.

Below is a table listing officially FIM-graded circuits worldwide, including their latest inspection status and grade classification.

All data is taken from FIM’s report of the annual meeting of the Circuit Racing Commission (CCR) held on September 09, 2025. You can find the official document here.
