The MotoGP class tests for the year 2024 have been officially confirmed, increasing the total official testing days to nine for the season.

This one-day increase is dedicated to testing a new front tire specification, agreed upon by manufacturers, teams, riders, and Michelin, the official tire supplier, before its expected introduction in 2025.

The tests will take place immediately after the Grand Prix events at the same venues: Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto on April 29, Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello on June 3, and Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli on September 9.

These in-season testing days will complement the preseason tests, and there will also be a final testing day at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia after the season finale.

The 2024 season will mark a significant milestone with a total of nine testing days and 22 Grands Prix in 18 countries.

Additionally, the MotoGP will celebrate its 75th anniversary next year, marking 75 years of Grand Prix racing since its inception in 1949.

The first test for the next season is scheduled for November 28, featuring exciting events like Marc Marquez’s debut with Gresini and Ducati, Pedro Acosta’s move to MotoGP, and much more.
