Following Pramac Racing’s Ducati departure after the 2024 season, the MotoGP giant has announced who will be their new full-factory support team.

As the number of Desmosedicis on the MotoGP grid is reduced to six, DucatiĀ also decided to reduce the number of current-spec bikes to three GP25s.

Revealing their decision on Friday of the British Grand Prix, the Bologna manufacturer will work in tandem with the VR46 Racing Team starting from 2025.

Valentino Rossi’s premier class team will receive just one current-spec Desmosedici as well as one GP24.

This should leave the team a bit disappointed following complaints from team manager Uccio Salucci, just one GP25 wouldn’t be enough for 2025.

In a candid interview with Canal+, Ducati Team Manager Davide Tardozzi confirmed: “There will be one official bike for Fabio Di Giannantonio and a GP24 for Franco Morbidelli.”

Although not yet fully confirmed by VR46 themselves, this pretty much seals the deal for Franco MorbidelliĀ who has long been rumored to be the top candidate for the vacant seat in the team.
