Ducati has officially announced the date for its 2026 MotoGP team presentation, confirming that the Desmosedici GP26 and the full factory lineup will be revealed on January 19.
The launch will once again be staged in Madonna di Campiglio, the Dolomite ski resort that has become synonymous with Ducati’s season kick-offs over the past three years and now stands as a long-term partner of the team.
As Ducati prepares for its 100th anniversary and the final MotoGP season before the major regulation shift in 2027, the Borgo Panigale outfit will unveil its last 1000cc-powered bike during the event.
After a 2025 season that softened the brand’s iron grip on MotoGP but still ended with Ducati on top by a long shot, the factory squad remains the clear benchmark for 2026.
Having shown that he’s miles clear of the rest of the field, Marc Márquez arrives as the reigning MotoGP champion after securing his ninth world championship title in 2025.
Returning the triple crown to Borgo Panigale and reestablishing himself as MotoGP’s clear reference point, there won’t be a way past calling the Márquez-Ducati duo the rider-bike combo to beat in 2026.
On the other side of the garage, Francesco Bagnaia aims to reset after a difficult 2025 campaign that left him fifth in the standings and questioning his own capabilities on a not-totally-perfect GP25.

To keep their Italian rival at bay, Ducati will return to fielding four factory-spec bikes in 2026, confirming that satellite riders Alex Márquez, runner-up behind his brother Marc in 2025, and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46) will receive GP26 machinery.
Before the main January launch, Ducati will hold its “Campioni in Festa” celebration on December 19, where senior leadership and riders from across MotoGP, WorldSBK, and its off-road programs gather to close out the 2025 season.
