What Daniel Holgado Expects From Himself For The 2022 Season

For Moto3 rookie Daniel Holgado his first season in Grand Prix racing started off quite well. Now, the Spaniard explains his own expectations for himself.

After 11 rounds of the 2022 season, Moto3 rookie Daniel Holgado has not yet been able to fight for podiums consistently. 

However, the 2021 CEV Junior Moto3 World Champion leads the rookie standings after leaving for the summer break during the best phase of his season.

In an interview the Red Bull KTM Ajo rider explains his satisfaction with his rookie season. He states:

“I can make a very positive assessment of this first half of the campaign. The start was quite positive, because we had good races, especially the last two.”

He admits that after winning the Junior Moto3 Championship, he was expecting “to be leading the rookie standings”. 

He thinks that because “all the new riders this season coming from that competition [Junior Moto3 Championship]” is an big advantage in making assumptions for the season. 

He finishes his statement with: “In that way, you know the other riders netter and I expected to be up there.”
