After winning the FIM Junior GP and still having the chance at the Red Bull Rookies Cup in one year, Jose Antonio Rueda will make his Moto3 debut with Red Bull KTM Ajo in 2023. Deniz Öncü returns to the team.
Red Bull KTM Ajo have confirmed their 2023 rider lineup for Moto3 – Deniz Öncü and Jose Antonio Rueda will ride the team’s bikes.
Öncü is in his fourth season in Moto3 and was expected to find a spot in Moto2 due to his weight and size. But still, the young Turk was one of the outstanding riders this season having managed three pole positions and a podium finish.

“I’m very happy to return to this team, after the years we shared in what is now Junior GP. I think we will be able to do very good things together in 2023 and we will fight for the title,” explains Öncü.
The bigger news however is the signing of long-awaited talent Jose Antonio Rueda. The Spaniard triumphed in FIM Junior GP and is on the verge of winning the Red Bull Rookies Cup as well.
Team boss Aki Ajo praises the talented rider: “He has shown great potential not only in Junior GP, where he was crowned champion this year but also in the Rookies Cup. We have seen him as one of those riders with great talent.”
At 16 years old, Rueda is one of the most promising youngsters in the sport and is expected to perform Acosta like in his debut season.
