MotoGP Stats And Numbers for the 2023 British grand Prix

As MotoGP is heading for the ninth round of the season, here are some interesting stats and numbers for the 2023 British Grand Prix.

1000 – Jack Miller could move up into the 1000+ Championship points club at Silverstone. He currently sits at 993 points in MotoGP.

651 – Marc Marquez is set for almost two years without a win in MotoGP. Should he see the chequered flag first at Silverstone the Spaniard would end a 651-day-long winless period.
60 – If Marc Marquez somehow manages to win the main race, the Spaniard would move up into an elite club of 60+ race wins. The same applies for fastest race laps.
49 – If at least one Ducati qualifies in the top three, it will be the 49 th successive race (since Valencia 2020).
35 – With Bagnaia and Marco Bezzecchi on the podium in Assen, Ducati is on a streak of 34 GP races in a row with at least one rider on the podium. Another will extend their record to 35. 
10 – With a win at Silverstone Maverick Vinales would move into an elite club of riders having won ten or more races without winning the World Championship. Currently, the list includes Dani Pedrosa (31), Andrea Dovizioso (15), Max Biaggi (13), and Randy Mamola (13).

9 – Any other rider winning the main race at Silverstone than Marc Marquez, Maverick Vinales, Fabio Quartararo, and Francesco Bagnaia would put MotoGP at an astonishing nine different race winners in the last nine British Grand Prix.
6 – A pole position at Silverstone for Marc Marquez would put the Spaniard at six pole positions at the British Grand Prix making it the fourth most pole positions at the same Grand Prix. He would only been beaten by Valentino Rossi at the Italian Grand Prix and Marc Marquez himself at the German Grand Prix and the Grand Prix of the Americas (all 7).
5 – If any other rider than Marc Marquez, Pol Espargaro, and Johann Zarco qualifies first at Silverstone, they would become the fifth different polesitter in the last five British Grand Prix.
2 – Only two MotoGP riders have scored points on every race weekend of the season so far – Franco Morbidelli and Augusto Fernandez.
