Honda Team Asia Confirms All Its Riders For 2023 - "Large Margin For Growth"
After a super successful weekend at the Japanese Grand Prix, Honda Team Asia has confirmed all its riders in both, Moto 2 and Moto3.
Following the motto “Never change a running system”, Honda Team Asia does not change its rider lineup for the 2023 season.
Ai Ogura is still in title contention in Moto2 and with Augusto Fernandez making the step up into MotoGP, provides big potential for a triumphing 2023 season.

With the signing of both, Ogura and Somkiat Chantra, Honda Team Asia team manager Hiroshi Aoyama hopes for another shot at the Moto2 title in 2023:
“They are both still young and with a large margin of growth. The goal is to fight for the title once again. I am convinced that next year we will be able to fight for it with both riders.”
But it is not only in Moto2 that Honda Team Asia acts in the spirit of continuity. Current Moto3 riders Mario Aji and Taiyo Furusato will also remain with the team in 2023.

Both riders are still in an acclimatisation phase. However, after Furusato’s first points at his home Grand Prix last weekend, both have already scored points.
“It was a first season of work, learning and growth,” said Aoyama. “We want to see how much they can improve and what they can do next year.”
