Since Jack Miller’s departure to KTM had been announced, Pramac Ducati rider Jorge Martin and three-time race winner Enea Bastianini are battling over the factory seat.
Ciabatti stated at the World Ducati Week in Misano: “We have confirmed both Enea [Bastianini] and Jorge [Martin] under the same conditions and with the same technical treatment.”
Regarding the state of the factory seat race, he continues: “They are both young and very fast. It is a difficult decision since they are both talented and represent the future of Ducati.”
But, although a difficult decision, it is an importnat one nonetheless and it keeps the whole MotoGP world on edge.
Being asked about a possible definitive date of the decision, Ciabatti confirms: “Choosing who will wear Lenovo colours and who will ride for Pramac, we will do that after the Austrian Grand Prix.
