For the 2023 season Brad Binder will get a new teammate in the Red Bull KTM garage. After two years of racing next to Miguel Oliveira, Jack Miller will take over.

For Brad Binder the news of the KTM signing of Jack Miller probably was a great news. After one year with Pol Espargaro and two years next to Miguel Oliveira, Brad Binder will have a new teammate for the 2023 season.

In an interview with the Youtube channel Moto Rider World, the South African explained his liking of the rider change in the KTM garage.

“Jack  is probably one of my best friends. I spend most of my time in Europe with him. He lives right down the street here in Andorra.”

After being asked where his friendship originates from, Binder explains: “I think Australians and South Africans get along well in general because we have a similar way of doing things. Jack and I train a lot together, we do cycling and some trial.”

But the South African does not just think about the personal side of the rider change. For him his friend Miller is an asset KTM and himself can learn a lot from.

“It will be fantastic to have him on the team. The good thing is that he has already ridden a Honda and comes from a Ducati which seems to be the strongest bike at the moment.”

He continues: “He [Jack Miller] can bring all that knowledge and feedback and help us make some progress on our project.”
