Alex Marquez Furious after Thailand Grand Prix - "This Way They Only Lose Time"

After the Thailand Grand Prix, there is a total collision between Alex Marquez and Honda. The Spaniard is furious about the work Honda is doing – or rather not doing.

With the rain coming down, Alex Marquez saw a chance to show his full potential with his underperforming LCR Honda at the Thailand Grand Prix.

While the rain showed its muscles, the Spaniard put in one of his best races of the season and found himself finishing the race in eighth place.

But despite the great performance, the 2019 Moto2 World Champion was angry after the race, particularly about the work of his team and his constructor Honda.

“Compared to Misano, all teams have made a step forward, but we are still at the same point. Honda is the first to waste time: they have good riders to test new things, to push their project, but they don’t take advantage of it.”

Since Marquez’s move to Gresini Ducati was announced, the Spaniard does not mince his words in dealing with difficulties regarding Honda’s performance.

Nevertheless, Marquez is willing to finish his stint with the Japanese manufacturer in a professional manner and would also like to play a role in the further development of the concept. But Honda no longer seems to be considering him.

“I can’t enjoy it, especially when I see that Honda has the potential to come to me and they don’t do it. I will always do my best as a professional, but every day is a day less.”
